Science & Memory is advertising and journalism students working together to tell stories of complex change about environment and climate. The project spans from Alaska to Oregon and places in between, blending science with story and art to educate about the importance of climate change. I was selected to travel to Cordova, Alaska in May, 2015 and again in July, 2015 to produce, curate, and capture the culture and beauty of this little fishing town, and I continued to foster these stories from the Northwest until 2017. Science & Memory won first place in the Hearst Multimedia Awards in 2016.
I worked on production and was a videographer and photographer for the short film “Will You Change?” where we used art and story to convey a message about receding glaciers. The film was shortlisted at NY's One Screen Film Festival, by The One Club.
