Science & Memory is advertising and journalism students working together to tell stories of complex change about environment and climate. the project spans from Alaska to Oregon and places in between, blending science with story and art to educate about the importance of climate change. I was selected to travel to Cordova, Alaska in May, 2015 and again in July, 2015 to produce, curate, and capture the culture and beauty of this little fishing town.
In July, I worked again on strategy, videography, and photography, using art and story to convey a message about receding glaciers. This film has been shortlisted at NY's One Screen Film Festival, by The One Club.
In May, I worked on strategy, videography, and photography for a story about the community of Cordova coming together for a ballet performance about the Ecosystems of Alaska. Again, a beautiful synthesis of science and art.
